Dr Grant Farquhar is a consultant psychiatrist in private practice in Bermuda with Solstice. He has over 30 years of clinical experience in psychiatry. Grant trained in the UK and has practiced at consultant level in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Bermuda. He has expertise in managing the full spectrum of mental health disorders especially anxiety disorders, mood disorders and ADHD.
Along with talking therapy and medication management, he is able to offer climbing therapy as an experiential therapy. Grant has been rock climbing for over 40 years to a high standard. He has been instrumental in developing the potential for rock climbing in Bermuda over the past 25 years. He has been featured in numerous climbing media, National Geographic and The Wall Street Journal regarding deep water soloing in Bermuda. He is the author of six published books on climbing including the climbing guide to Bermuda.
