St George’s

Tobacco Bay

THIRD IMPRESSION V2

Climb out of the obvious small cave behind the bay via a jug in an impending wall. Rubbish, I wouldn’t bother if I were you. Originally done with a sit down start but this has since disintegrated to the point that a standing start is necessary. Like a lot of the rock in Bermuda this looks good from a distance and crap on closer inspection but you climb it anyway.

Achilles Bay

Has a small vertical wall on the beach which allows easy traversing

North Coast of St George’s Island

There is some good rock here with bouldering potential but the landings tend to be horrendous. A determined team of boulderers and spotters plus bouldering mats would definitely post some problems though.
